Silo cleaning of a sugar silo using insecticidal input materials

The aim of this measure was to clean a sugar silo. However, the situation was complicated by the fact that the silo was literally flooded with wasps, which had to be scared off first.

As only approved materials were used, the emergency crews had to be protected against wasps with special PPE equipment.

The combination of a sting protection train reinforced the protective function and ensured that the silo cleaning measures could be carried out safely.

The use of a chemical deterrent ensured that the wasps became passive and did not attack the climber. The silo cleaning could be carried out comprehensively.

The operation was documented according to our specifications and demonstrably carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations.
